Solution

View points can be used to quickly switch to a saved view within the design. View points are also used to generate a Movie and generate a 360 Panorama.

To save view points, follow the steps below.

1. Go to View > Perspective

2. Within the mini plan on the Navigate View palette, change the view position to a desired view.

3. Once you have set the view position, go to ViewSave View

4. This will add/save the view in the current view position within the perspective view.
A thumbnail of the saved view point will be displayed in 'View Points' in the Navigate View palette.

To rename or delete a view point, follow the steps below.

1. Right click on the view point thumbnail you wish to rename or delete.

2. Select 'Rename View Point' if you wish to rename the view point or 'Delete View Point' if you wish to delete the view point.

Updating the View Point will overwrite the existing view position with a new view position.
To update a view point, follow the steps below.

1. Within the mini plan in the Navigate View palette, change the view position to a desired view.

2. Right click on the view you wish to update and click on 'Update View Point.'

3. This will overwrite the existing view position with a new view position.

Note: If you do not see the 'Navigate View' palette, go to View > Click on Change View Point (Shortcut key: Ctrl + Shift + V)
