When attempting to open the 2020 Office software you receive the following error:
"Security Error! Your 2020 Cloud Account shows that you are already signed in on another computer. Please Sign out of that computer before attempting to sign in on another one."
User is attempting log into multiple computers with the same login.
Server error at 2020.
Verify that you are not logged in on another computer with the same username. If you are logged in on another computer log out of the software by selecting Logout from the 2020 Cloud menu.
If you are not logged in on another computer or you are logged in elsewhere but are unable to access that computer, please contact 2020 Office Customer Success using the link below. A 2020 technician will be able to clear the message for you.
Please note that there is an issue in the 2020 Office v2020.0 that may trigger this message. This will be fixed in 2020 Office v2020.1 which will be released in August, 2020. It is recommended that you log out of your software before upgrading to a newer version.
Users are not able to kick themselves or another user on their account out of 2020's servers. This action must be performed by a 2020 technician. A feature is being considered for the future to allow users to clear a duplicate login themselves, but nothing is available at this time.
